CLEAR ALIGNERS

If you want to straighten gapped or crooked teeth but don't want traditional braces, clear aligners may be the solution you've been looking for. These custom-molded aligners are made of clear material and are just as effective at straightening teeth as traditional braces. The main difference is that clear aligners are much more discreet (not to mention removable.)

How Clear Aligners Work

Every clear aligner places a small amount of pressure on your teeth to move them into the desired position. You'll replace your alignment trays with the next pair in the series every other week. With each new pair of aligners, your smile gets that much closer to a healthy alignment. There aren’t any “adjustments” like you see with traditional braces.

Dr. Kanimalla recommends that you visit Innova Family Dental every other month so that she can assess your progress. As long as everything is going well, we'll send you home with the next set of trays to continue your treatment. ​​We may need to make a few changes or add "buttons" to specific teeth, which are small tooth-colored extensions that provide a surface for your trays to grip onto.
